Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.
DREAMS
I think what this poems is saying is that life wont go anywhere without dreams, it'll be like " a broken-winged bird that cannot fly", in other words, it'll be useless.
The poem also emphasize this, when it says that "when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow", it's wont produce anything. This poem is really inspiring to me, because it shows the consequences of a life without dreams.
