SOME iNFO ABOUT CLiNTON HiLL & BROWSViLLE
Back in the days, ( possibly Still), Clinton Hill used to be a very properous neighborhood who had rich people living in it. They would travel to Manhattan by stagecoach. These rich people have built many mansion, some still here today.
Brownsville's main thoroughfare is Pitkin Avenue, On which you can find a clutter of stores, and of course shoppers !
Coming from Brownsville, Clinton-Washington Avenue is the first place you start seeing people other than African-Americans Or Hispanics.
Clinton Hill is a form of a melting pot.
To me, its like a collaboration between two very different races trying to live together
Pitkin Avenue is a place I frequent a lot, whether I'm shopping or going to my doctors.
Brownsville motto is "Never Ran, Never Will", and it is one of the most populated neighborhoods. It used to be a Jewish neighborhood, but is today mostly populated by African Americans.
